In December 2020, MacGillivray law filed the notice of action in the class action lawsuit against the Bedford-area dentist, Dr. Errol Gaum.
Calls continue to come in from other patients who have been subjected to Dr. Gaum’s alleged harsh practices during dental appointments.
The next step is certification of the class action lawsuit. This is a process where the court will decide whether there is a valid cause of action arising out of a harm done to an identifiable group of people, and whether a class action is the correct format for a resolution.
It is important to keep in mind that a class action lawsuit, like any legal action, takes time. It is important that we advocate for all those who have been wronged by Dr. Gaum’s actions and give everyone a chance to tell their story.
