Wayne was born and raised in New Glasgow, located in Pictou County. Wayne kept himself busy outside of school as an athlete, Big Brother with Big Brothers Big Sister, and a community volunteer. Wayne attended Saint Mary’s University and was a visiting student at Saint Francis Xavier University and the University of New Brunswick. Wayne attended Dalhousie Law School while working as a Research Assistant on the African Nova Scotian Research Ethics Framework project.
After completing his studies, Wayne accepted an articling position with MacGillivray Law. Wayne splits his time between New Glasgow and Bedford and plans to settle in Pictou County in the future.
