Matt has spent his entire career helping injured clients.
Matt started with MacGillivray Law in 2016 as a summer research analyst. He returned to article under founder Jamie MacGillivray before joining the firm as an Associate in 2020. He has appeared before courts and tribunals in both England and Canada.
While at UCL, Matt raced in the British Universities Karting Championship and was a member of the first-place team at the UCL Law/BLP debating competition.
Prior to being called to the bar, he served as a legislative assistant at the House of Commons, Parliament of Canada.
Matt is originally from Stellarton. He now lives in New Glasgow with his wife Yaya and dog Lobster.
