Jamie MacGillivray called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar_.

Today we celebrate our Founding Partner, Jamie MacGillivray, for being called to the Newfoundland & Labrador Bar and becoming an official member of the Law Society of Newfoundland & Labrador.

Jamie founded MacGillivray Injury & Insurance Law in 1994. He opened his first office in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia when he was fresh out of law school. As the practice and team grew, MacGillivray Law expanded and opened its second law office in Halifax several years later.

For many years, our personal injury firm represented the people of Newfoundland & Labrador remotely from our offices in Nova Scotia. In early 2018, we expanded once again and opened a law office on Duckworth Street in St. John’s. Our caseload and our staff have been growing ever since.

Today, we are a team of 15 lawyers, 4 articled clerks, and 35+ paralegals and support staff, all dedicated to representing injury and disability victims. Many of our staff members have been with us 10+ years, and some even 20+.

Today’s ceremony in St. John’s symbolizes our permanent presence in the Province and is one more exciting moment in the history of our firm.
