Jenn was born and raised in the little community of Caribou, located in rural Pictou County. Jenn kept herself busy outside of school as a longtime member of the Heatherbell Girls Pipes and Drums. Jenn spent a year studying at Saint Mary’s University before attending Saint Francis Xavier University, where she worked as a tour guide and in the admissions office. Jenn then attended Dalhousie Law School, while juggling a busy work schedule as a Caseload Planner for the Victorian Order of Nurses. She also spent a semester at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Clinic. Jenn graduated with her law degree in 2008.
Upon completing her studies, Jenn promptly returned to Pictou County, eagerly accepting an articling opportunity with MacGillivray Law Office. Since that time Jenn has represented her clients before the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal, as well as the Social Security Tribunal (SST).
Jenn splits her time between Pictou Island and Durham with Rob and their three beagles, Indy, Jax, and Kenzie.
